Join us for the 2024 Shakedown Cruise

Schedule of Events:

Friday, April 19
  • Boats arrive beginning at 13:00
  • BYOB Happy Hour on the docks; appetizers provided by SBYC
  • Raingutter Regatta Race kits are distributed (one kit per boat)
  • Dinner on your own

Saturday, April 20
  • Breakfast sandwiches provided by SBYC
  • During the day:
    • Build your Raingutter Regatta Race boat
    • Experience some Anacortes local character in a scavenger hunt contest
    • Deal with any boat issues that were "shook down" during your voyage
    • Buy any provisions that you thought were already on board
    • Lunch on your own
  • Raingutter Regatta begins at 14:30
  • BYOB Happy Hour on the docks
  • Catered dinner provide by SBYC
  • Live music during Happy Hour and dinner

Sunday, April 21
  • Muffins provided by SBYC
  • Depart for home by 11:00


Important Information:

The price of this event is $43 per person if paid by check or $44.63 each if paid online with a credit card.  If you opt to pay by check, please make sure SBYC receives it by April 12.

Your registration fee does not include your boat moorage.  You'll pay for your moorage in the marina office upon arrival.  You do not need to contact Cap Sante Marina to reserve your slip as all slip assignments will be made and managed by the SBYC Port Hosts.  You'll receive a cruise packet with all event details during the days leading up to the cruise.

** Cap Sante Marina only allotted 22 slips and one party tent to SBYC this year. Due to limited tent space we can accommodate a maximum of 62 people. Space for those planning to join us by car (or otherwise not occupying a marina slip) may be limited depending on the number of people arriving by boat. **

Pricing for this event is set at $43.00 per person. Prices shown below include a small surcharge for registrations made with a credit card. If you opt to pay by check, you'll receive a discount: Please make checks out for $43.00 per person.
Cancellation Policy:
When you commit to pay for a dinner or a cruise, we may not offer a refund unless you cancel your registration prior to the published cancellation deadline for that event as we'll be making financial commitments based on your reservation.

If you must cancel after the deadline, we may be able to offer a refund IF we're able to fill your reservation from a waitlist.
